This policy applies to all users, customers, daters, members, clients, participants, event attendees, contractors, hosts, and any person who interacts with Flare Events Inc. or uses our services.

Flare Events Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse service, remove a person from an event, suspend or terminate access, cancel participation, restrict future participation, cancel active tickets or services, or take any other action we consider appropriate where a person violates this policy, these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, or our standards of conduct.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  1. abusive, threatening, harassing, degrading, discriminatory, intimidating, exploitative, coercive, fraudulent, deceptive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour;
  2. any conduct involving or suggesting human trafficking, sex trafficking, exploitation, coercion, intimidation, abuse, forced participation, or commercial sexual activity;

  5. providing false, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent information in connection with registration, intake, onboarding, payment, participation, identity, age, preferences, availability, or eligibility;
  6. attempting to bypass age restrictions, eligibility requirements, safety procedures, payment rules, service limits, or any part of these Terms or our Privacy Policy;
  7. impersonating another person or entity, including any Flare Events Inc. employee, contractor, host, client, member, dater, or representative;
  8. violating another person’s privacy, consent, boundaries, safety, or confidentiality;
  9. engaging in behaviour that creates a safety concern for Flare Events Inc., our staff, contractors, hosts, clients, members, daters, participants, or the public;
  10. engaging in illegal, fraudulent, abusive, exploitative, or suspicious activity connected to Flare Events Inc. or our services.

All Flare Events Inc. services are voluntary and opt-in. We do not permit coercion, pressure, third-party control, or forced participation. Flare Events Inc. services are restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by Flare Events Inc.

For dating events specifically, Flare Events Inc. may also enforce the following event-related rules:

  1. Any dater who fails to arrive at an event on time or within a reasonable delay from the listed start time may be refused entrance.
  2. A dater who arrives 20 or more minutes late without providing adequate notice may be refused entrance, and their ticket may be considered redeemed.
  3. A dater who fails to attend an event without providing reasonable notice prior to the start time may receive a strike on their profile.
  4. After two strikes, a dater may be disallowed from attending future events.
  5. A dater who chooses to leave an event prematurely without a valid reason may be disallowed from attending future events.
  6. A dater who demonstrates abusive, unsafe, inappropriate, or prohibited behaviour toward staff, contractors, hosts, daters, participants, or other individuals may be asked to leave immediately and may be barred from future attendance at events and future use of Flare Events Inc. services.

Where Flare Events Inc. identifies suspected illegal, fraudulent, abusive, exploitative, coercive, trafficking-related, or unsafe activity, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  1. pause, suspend, cancel, or terminate access to services;

  3. cancel active tickets, orders, services, memberships, or participation;
  4. estrict or permanently bar future use of Flare Events Inc. services;
  5. preserve relevant records, communications, registration details, incident reports, payment/order information, and other information where appropriate and in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy;
  6. escalate the matter internally to company leadership;
  7. report the matter to law enforcement, emergency services, payment processors, platforms, or other appropriate authorities where we believe there is a credible concern involving human trafficking, sex trafficking, exploitation, coercion, abuse, minors, imminent harm, fraud, or other illegal activity, in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

In all cases, Flare Events Inc. will determine, in its sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of this policy and what action is appropriate. Active tickets, purchases, services, or memberships may be considered redeemed and non-refundable where a person is removed, suspended, terminated, barred, or refused service due to a violation of this policy, these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable law.

This policy supplements and does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Flare Events Inc. under these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, or any other agreement between you and Flare Events Inc.

Membership and Database Access

Membership, database-style access, or similar access-based services are provided for the fixed term stated at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the standard access period is 12 months from the date of purchase or activation.

Access does not automatically renew unless the customer separately purchases, agrees to, or authorizes a renewal.

Daterbase or database-style access is a passive membership or access product. It may allow Flare Events Inc. to create, review, maintain, or consider a customer profile, and to contact the customer where appropriate. It is not an active matchmaking package and does not guarantee introductions, matches, timelines, dedicated matchmaker support, coaching, regular check-ins, or ongoing profile revisions.

Flare Events Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue access where required for safety, operational, legal, technical, payment, or policy reasons.

If a customer’s access is suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, safety standards, or applicable law, the customer may not be eligible for a refund, credit, or extension.

Recurring Billing and Renewals

Unless expressly stated at the time of purchase, Flare Events Inc. does not automatically renew membership, database access, coaching, matchmaking, or other services.

If Flare Events Inc. offers recurring billing, subscriptions, or automatic renewals in the future, the billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation process, and applicable charges will be disclosed before purchase or enrollment.

Customers must separately agree to any recurring billing, subscription, or automatic renewal arrangement before it becomes active.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Flare Events Inc. may provide dating events, matchmaking, membership or database access, coaching, recommendations, introductions, or related services.

While we aim to provide high-quality services, we do not guarantee any specific result, match, relationship, introduction, compatibility, attendance level, response, outcome, timeline, or personal result from using our services.

Customer outcomes may depend on factors outside of Flare Events Inc.’s control, including personal preferences, availability, geography, communication, timing, participation, compatibility, and the actions or decisions of other individuals.

Photography, Video, and Image Consent

By attending an event organized by Flare Events Inc., you acknowledge that photographs, videos, or audio recordings may be taken that include your likeness, voice, or participation.

These recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, social media, website, internal, or other business-related purposes by Flare Events Inc.

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify Flare Events Inc. or event staff before or upon arrival at the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests not to be photographed or recorded, but we cannot guarantee exclusion from all background, crowd, incidental, or previously captured media.

This section does not apply to private client intake, matchmaking, coaching, or membership information, which is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Refund Policy

Flare Events Inc. takes pride in the quality and value of the services we offer.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or in a separate service-specific agreement, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Flare Events Inc., in its sole discretion, approves a refund, credit, transfer, or partial refund.

For dating events, tickets may be considered redeemed once the event has occurred, once a participant fails to attend without reasonable notice, or where a participant is refused entry or removed due to a violation of these Terms or our conduct standards.

For membership, database-style access, or other access-based services, refunds are not guaranteed once access, intake, onboarding, profile creation, profile review, or other service activity has begun.

For matchmaking and coaching services, refund terms may also be governed by the applicable service agreement accepted by the customer.

Purchases made through third-party platforms, ticketing providers, payment processors, partner channels, or external checkout systems may also be subject to the terms, refund rules, processing timelines, and fees of those third parties.

If Flare Events Inc. cancels an event or is unable to deliver a purchased service due solely to our own actions or omissions, we may offer a refund, credit, transfer, or other resolution, depending on the circumstances and the service purchased.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. The time required for a refund to appear may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, ticketing platform, payment processor, or other financial institution.
